• HOW YOU CAN HELP

Hands-on Gardening  - Adopt one garden or help care for them all.  We’d love to have you work in the garden one hour per week, but any time you can give during the Spring and Fall is appreciated!

Chicken Coop Volunteers - Looking for a dedicated group of families to help with chicken care during the school year.  This group will work together to maintain the coop, clean the coop, and care for the chickens on weekends/holidays.

Greenhouse Lesson Coordinator (for grade level of your choosing) - Determine lesson schedule with classroom teachers, choose lessons, and list supplies for one grade level.  Coordinate volunteer teachers, helpers and set-up for one grade level.  Weekly communication with volunteer teachers and may include purchasing needed supplies (these will be reimbursed).  1-2 people per grade, we have an abundance of lessons to choose from or you can create your own).

Greenhouse Class Teachers - Lead teach Greenhouse lessons to grade level of your choosing.  Classes are held bi-weekly with 30 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of class time.

Greenhouse Class Helpers - Assist the Greenhouse teacher with classes during the year when more hands are needed.  Volunteer as little or as often as you like.  We need a lot of helpers!

I have another talent I’d like to share (ex. musician, chef, storyteller, artist, naturalist, astronomer, beekeeper, carpentry or other trade; research, grant writing, etc.).  Your knowledge and special skills can greatly enrich our student’s experience in the Greenhouse and Nature Zone.
