Dear Copley-Fairlawn Families and Staff Members,
I hope that all of you are well as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times. At Governor DeWine’s direction, the Copley-Fairlawn City School buildings are closed until at least May 1, 2020. All district buildings, facilities, and athletic fields remain closed until further notice. Central office administration, your child’s classroom teacher(s) and your building principal will continue to provide information to families regarding ongoing instruction.
The classroom teachers, with the support of their building principals, will continue to prepare and deliver online instruction to your child(ren). It is our expectation that students are actively engaged in their instruction. Regular feedback and grades will be provided. Parents and students should check email regularly for communications from their child’s teacher(s).
Please understand, there are some very important activities such as graduation and senior prom that potentially may be impacted. It is our intention to celebrate these momentous occasions if and when we are able to do so. As our future landscape becomes clearer, we will develop alternative plans and will communicate those to you accordingly. Be well!
Brian E. Poe
During this unprecedented school closure, the Copley-Fairlawn City School District is committed to providing students, who receive free and/or reduced lunch, healthy lunches. Therefore we are offering eligible students the ability to participate in a grab-and-go lunch program.
The Copley-Fairlawn City Schools are eternally grateful to our Alumni who have served this great country. The following survey will help us gather necessary information in order to honor veterans who graduated from Copley High School. The survey may be completed by an individual veteran, family member, or a friend. Thank you for helping us honor our veterans
