Congratulations to the 36 Students who received award recognition from the Northeast Central Ohio Scholastic Art Competition. This year Copley High School received 11 Gold Keys, 11 Silver Keys and 22 Honorable Mentions. There were a total of 3811 Individual submissions and 417 were rewarded a gold or silver key, which were shown in the Exhibition. On January 27, 2018 the students who received a Gold and/or a Silver Key were recognized at Kent State University at Stark with all the award recipients of the Northeast Central Region. 3 Students were recognized with additional awards: Logan Ohlin, received a Canton Museum of Art Membership, Amanda Pittman received a Dick Blick Gift Certificate and Hope Gregory was honored with an American Vision Award for her piece Titled “Transcendental Monarch.” . Congratulations once again to all the students and their successes and also congratulations to Mrs. Addis and Mr. Pastor for their hard work and dedication for helping and preparing their students for this year’s competition.
