The Copley-Fairlawn City Schools, in conjunction with the Copley Police Department and Summit County Victim Assistance, are proud to host an evening for parents. During this informative evening, Jan Apisa, from Summit County Victim Assistance, will discuss the problem of human trafficking and why this is surprisingly prevalent in the Fairlawn area.
Next, representatives from the Copley Police Department will discuss the ALICE method of responding to an intruder in our buildings. This discussion will include an explanation of how our students should respond if ever faced with the unthinkable in a school building. Please join us in the Copley High School John Halchin Memorial Auditorium on April 25 beginning at 7:00 pm for a discussion on human trafficking with the ALICE discussion scheduled to begin at 7:45 pm.
