• 2016-2017 Commencement & Prom Feedback Survey

    For the 2016-2017 school year, the Copley High School Prom was scheduled for Saturday, May 27th and the commencement ceremony was scheduled for Sunday, June 4th. Since the ceremony involves freshmen, sophomore, junior, and faculty participation, the prom and commencement ceremony had to be rescheduled.

  • Senior Exam Exemption Policy

    In accordance with our student handbook policy 1.10, seniors may be eligible for an exemption from their senior exams. To be considered for exam exemption, students must meet the applicable academic, attendance, and behavioral standards outlined in the Exam Exemption Application.   • Copley High School Newspaper Takes First Place

    The Ohio Scholastic Media Association/Kent State University School of Journalism and Mass Communication has awarded Copley High School's student newspaper, The Drumbeat, a First Place rating in its annual statewide competition. This is the fifth year in a row that journalism students have earned this prestigious level of recognition.

  • Copley High School’s Diane Dann Receives Grant for Software

    The DECA Hotel Curriculum Grant by the J. Willard & Alice S. Marriott Foundation was written and received by Diane Dann. The grant provides Copley High School the Virtual Business Hotel business software site license valued at $1695. Only 36 teachers across the country were awarded this grant.

  • Public Health to Offer Free Public Health 101 Workshop for Students Considering a Career In Public Health

    Summit County Public Health (SCPH) will offer its first session of Public Health 101, a three hour workshop on local public health, programs at SCPH and Public Health careers. The morning will include an opportunity to talk with SCPH staff about their programs and professions and interdisciplinary discussion and brainstorming about current public health issues.     The annual Man of the Year competition was held on Thursday, January 21st. The show was electric and the contestants put on a most entertaining performance. While the competitions was quite intense, Senior Nick Hofacker prevailed as the MOTY 2016! Congratulations!
