    It's not too late to participate in the CFMS Science Fair! If you are interested, just fill out the green flyer and send it into the Main Office by this Friday, Jan. 31st with your $5 participation fee. You can work alone or with ONE other person from your same grade level, but you must send in the flyer and $5 fee. We can't wait to see all the fun and exciting experiments you will bring to the CFMS students and staff on March 17!

    Attention Student Council class representatives - you should have, either yesterday or today, received a pass for today's student council meeting. It will take place TODAY at 10:07 in the Library. Please be on time and bring something to write with to the meeting.



    Youth to Youth lunch will be this Thursday during all lunch periods.  Come down to the hallway near the old gym and play games, eat lunch and learn how to make healthy decisions!

    Attention NJHS members:  Please check the NJHS Google Classroom for a new volunteer opportunity happening this Friday. You won't want to miss this Fun Night so be sure to go to the Google Classroom and fill out the Google Form to sign up to volunteer. Hurry!! Sign ups end tonight at 9:00 pm and you won't want to miss out! If you have any questions, see or email Ms. Faith in the guidance office.

    (Read till 1/30)  Thursday is an “A” week practice and the last practice before our first competition. Check the schedule to see if you have been selected to compete. You must have all your builds, kits, and cheat sheets ready for Solon on Thursday. Permission slips and other paperwork must be turned in by Thursday to attend. We are still in need of three parent volunteers at the competition. Packets for the competition will be available in room 632 on Thursday. 



    CFMS Sports Report:  

     

    Congratulations to the wrestling team as they finished in 7th place at last weekend’s Garfield Heights tournament.  Devonn Nixon was the champion at 150 lbs, while Dominic Catalano took third place, Cole Flanick and Jackson Gamsby both took 4th place, Drew Humphrys took 5th, and both Braylon Grimes and Taquan Bilingsly took home 6th place awards.

    Wrestling tough and scoring points for the team were; Chad Snelling, Christian Petit, Nate Dennison, Xandre Flohr, and Sherif Hassan.

    The team would like to thank all the teachers, administration, their classmates, and custodians for all their help and support through-out the season.

    Thank you to everyone who is wearing sports shirts to team up for Kindness today.  Tomorrow's theme is Ride the Wave of Kindness and wear Beach Attire. 5th and 6th graders, make sure to stop by the Kindness craft station at lunch tomorrow to make a craft.  

    How many Kindness grams have you sent so far?  It will make someone's day to get a kind message!!!!
