    (Read till 12/12)  The Book Fair has arrived at CFMS and is open for business TODAY, through Friday, December 13th. Everyone will have the opportunity to shop with their literacy class or with a pass from their teacher. Lets take a peek at all the good stuff to purchase at the book fair….

    CFMS Sports Report:

     

    The 7th Grade girls basketball team improved their record to 2-0 by beating Kent Roosevelt 43-20. The Indians played well on both ends of the floor to get the victory. The leading scorer for Copley was Emma Niemezura with 8 points. Also scoring was Ellena Davis with 7 points, Callie Conzaman with 6 points, Ali Chesney with 6 points, Jemeah Little with 5 points, Angie Lane with 5 points, and Michelle Weng with 4 points. Great job ladies on the victory. Next up for Lady Indians is North Royalton on Tuesday.

    The 8th grade girls basketball team beat Kent Thursday to raise their record to 2 and 0. Contributing to the win were Allison Pittman with a steal and rebound; Isabella Burch had 2 rebounds; Alexa Strandberg had 4 steals; Kate Young had 5 points and 3 steals; Sydney Leach had 6 points and 5 steals; and Valerie D'Amico had 4 points and 4 steals; Coleen Bauer had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals; Katey Firestine had 11 points and 2 rebounds; Emily Kerekes had 13 points, 3 assists and 3 steals; Kami Ayoup had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals; and Izzy Callaway had 9 points and 3 steals. The girls play at North Royalton this Tuesday.

    CFMS NEWS:

     

    (Read till 12/5) Tomorrow will be the annual CFMS Warm and Wooly Breakfast from 7:30 to 8:10 AM in the CFMS cafeteria.  Please come and enjoy a continental breakfast with your classmates and bring in your donation like: new mittens or gloves, new socks, new hats, and granola bars to donate for the Copley-Fairlawn Cares Backpack Program.  See you tomorrow morning!

     

    If you cannot make the Warm and Wooly breakfast there are bins located around the school to collect new winter outerwear items to be donated to the Copley Outreach Center.

    Attention all door decorators – You only have FIVE DAYS LEFT to get your classroom's door in the holiday spirit for this year's Student Council Winter Blast door decorating contest! Judging will take place one week from TODAY! The winning homeroom at each grade level receiving donuts and juice before Winter Break. KEEP UP THE DECORATING!!! 




    CFMS Club News:

     

    Attention Student Council class representatives - we will be having a student council meeting today during Mods 5-6. You should have received a pass yesterday to come to the meeting. Be sure to bring a pencil and something to take notes on to share with your homeroom.
