    Letter from the Principal:

    Copley High School

Dear Copley High School Students and Families,
It is my honor and privilege to serve the Copley-Fairlawn City School District as the high school principal. Copley has an outstanding tradition of academic excellence of which I am most excited to be a part. While this is only my second year in serving the Copley-Fairlawn City Schools, I already feel as though I have been a member of the community for quite some time. Along with a tremendous record of achievement, Copley High School also possesses a rich diversity that enhances the educational experience of its students. Copley High School truly offers a world-class education with a true community feel.
Prior to coming to Copley High School, I served as both a high school and middle school principal in the Waterloo Local School district for two years. This experience was preceded with on year as an assistant middle school principal in the Cloverleaf Local Schools. Prior to moving into administration, I taught high school mathematics at Green High school for six years. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in math education and a master's degree in school administration both of which were earned at Kent State University. I am currently pursuing an advanced degree in applied statistics and psychometrics.
I am married to my beautiful wife Brittany and we have two daughters: Adalee and Arwen and one son: Elias.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions, feedback, or concerns.

    Michael Coury
