As a new school year begins, there is a renewed sense of excitement and possibility throughout Copley-Fairlawn City Schools. Every school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve, and I am grateful to begin this journey alongside our students, families, staff, and community.

CFCS Announces Administrative Changes

Copley-Fairlawn City School District has announced a series of administrative changes ahead of the 2026-2027 school year, including welcoming Dr. Lindsay Slater as assistant superintendent, Danielle Terlonge as principal of Fort Island Primary School, and Trisha Snowden as principal of Herberich Primary School.

Teacher Awarded GAR Foundation Grant

Fort Island Primary School third-grade teacher Ashley Gozzard has received a $3,300 Educator Initiative Grant from the GAR Foundation to launch The Literacy Link.
