As we close another remarkable school year, I am filled with gratitude and pride for our entire school community. This year has been defined by growth, achievement, and the shared commitment of our students, staff, and families.
We kicked off May by celebrating Staff Appreciation Week, recognizing the dedication, passion, and care our educators bring to their work every day. On May 17, we proudly celebrated the Class of 2026 at Commencement. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and look forward to the impact they will make on the world.
Throughout the year, we have celebrated our students in classrooms, in the community, on the field, and on the stage. Their accomplishments continue to inspire us, and we are proud of all they represent. This work remains grounded in the priorities that guide our district and shape the experiences we create for every student.
Our collective hard work was recognized on a national stage. This year, all five of our schools were honored in the U.S. News & World Report Best Schools Rankings, placing among the top in the state. This achievement reflects the exceptional teaching and collaboration found across our entire district.
We also released our Quality Profile, the first in many years, highlighting what makes our district truly special. This report showcases the many ways our students grow and succeed beyond traditional measures, celebrating the “whole child” experience in the Copley-Fairlawn City School District.
While our students take a well-deserved break, our work continues. This summer, we are excited to move forward with several facility improvements designed to better serve our community:
• A new storage and restroom facility near the varsity baseball field.
• A modernized entrance to the natatorium and gymnasium.
• Comprehensive parking lot expansion and resurfacing.
