My name is Carri Sensius and I am the School-based Mental Health Counselor at Arrowhead, Ft. Island, and Herberich Primary Schools.  I have been providing billable services in all of the Copley-Fairlawn City Schools for the past three years and am employed by Child Guidance and Family Solutions.   I am currently an independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have the ability to supervise Counselors in training.   I have a MA ED. in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  I have worked in the counseling field for the past 28 years!

My role at the Primary Schools is to provide support to the Guidance Counselors and meet with students in need of emotional and behavioral support.  I will be working with the Opportunity Program students at Herberich.  I also plan to facilitate group sessions with students in need of learning Social-emotional skills, as well as students in need of processing grief and loss, family disruption, self-esteem, inattentiveness, anxiety, and other emotional needs.

I have been married to my husband for 28 years and we have two adult children.  Our daughter, Hannah is a make-up artist and our son Andrew is in his final year studying Mechanical Engineering Technology.  We also have a cross-eyed cat named Cabo.  Our family loves travel and we are very active in our German cultural club.  My husband and I teach 40 teenagers German dance and we are planning a trip to Europe next year!

My office is located at Herberich Primary and I can be reached at (330) 664-4905 extension 524905.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.  I look forward to assisting the students where needed and working with teachers and parents.
