-
Discuss with your Family whether or not taking CCP fits into your Four Year Plan.
Being prepared for CCP is much more than being academically ready. CCP is a student-driven program where students are expected to be responsible for adhering to deadlines, communicating directly with the college, and having the social/emotional maturity to start their college journey while still in high school. Please attend the CCP meeting first and have this discussion with your family.

-
Do NOT use your school email address when creating your username and password (for some reason application systems does not like student email addresses)
-
Some colleges will send you a verification email to your email address before you can continue.
-
Complete the entirety of the College Credit Plus application. If a student begins an application but leaves it ‘In Progress’ this means it has not been officially submitted therefore cannot be processed in a timely manner.
-
Inform your CHS Counselor that you applied.
-
-
Make sure you have the right Cumulative GPA or Complete the Required Placement Exam (ACT/SAT/Placement Test through University)
*The state recently passed new eligibility guidelines that allows students to be determined eligible for CCP with test scores or a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher OR a 2.75 GPA and received an "A" or "B" grade in a relevant high school course. *It is still in the student’s best interest to use an ACT or SAT score for placement into college courses
-
Check your emails! Once accepted, follow the college's directives - This will be emailed from the college to the email the student applied with.
*Many of these schools require confirmation of enrollment and participation in a new student orientation before enrolling in classes.
-
Inform your CHS Counselors! Once accepted and registered, you will turn in a copy of your course schedule and meet with your Copley HS counselor to adjust your CHS schedule.
-
Before classes begin! Do NOT pay for your own books. Submit your CCP books through the media center google form in the link below. Check your university email, syllabus for the class or college website for which books you need. Pick up required textbooks in the media center.
-
Turn in Technology Agreement Form! Parent and student signatures are required so the CHS tech department can remove restrictions from your ChromeBook. This is important so you can access university resources.
-
Turn in CCP Release Form! If you are taking on campus or online classes and will not have CHS classes as a result of CCP or plan on coming in and leaving at other times as a result of your CCP schedule, you need to have this form signed and turned in. Until we receive this form and change it in the system, your schedule will show study halls which you are required to attend.
