    Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission Parent Guide:  The Compact provides information addressing key educational transition issues encountered by military families including enrollment, placement, attendance, eligibility and graduation.

     

    Ohio National Guard Family Readiness and Warrior Support Program: The Family Readiness and Warrior Support programs are designed to teach Ohio's Service Members and Families to be "good fisherman" - knowledgeable, aware of resources, adaptable, and networked to succeed and grow from the experiences unique to military culture.

     

    MILITARY ONESOURCE: A central hub and go-to-place for the military community.  Provides information about military benefits, deployments, reintegration, moves, parenthood, retirement and more.

     

    OMK Ohio Military Kids: A resource to support the youth of military families throughout the deployment cycle.

     

    Veterans Service Commission of Summit County: An organization committed to bridging the gap between you and the VA.

     

    Ohio Department of Education - Supporting Ohio's Military Families: Information on a number of Ohio programs to assist military families.

     

    American Red Cross: Emergency communication for military families, financial assistance, referral services, deployment support and services.

     

    Veterans Crisis Line: The Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that’s available to anyone, even if you’re not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care. The caring, qualified responders at the Veterans Crisis Line are specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances.

     

    March2Success: March2Success is a FREE website providing users access to online study materials to help improve their scores on standardized tests such as state exit exams, college entrance exams, the military entrance exam (ASVAB) and others.

     

    National Military Family Association: Provides information and resources related to services and programs for military families.

     

    Pets for Vets: Pairs veterans with shelter dogs that are specially selected to match the veterans' personality.

     

    Our Military Kids: Our Military Kids, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports children, ages 5-12th grade, of deployed National Guard and Reserve service members and children of wounded warriors from all service branches. Grants pay for participation in activities that help children cope with stress and anxiety while their parents are recovering or absent.

     

    Sesame Workshop: Provides much-needed support and practical education through Talk, Listen, Connect, a multiphase outreach initiative to help young kids through deployments, combat-related injuries and the death of a loved one.

     

    Real Warriors: A multimedia public awareness campaign designed to encourage help-seeking behavior among service members, veterans and military families coping with invisible wounds.

     

    Ohio Higher Education for Veterans:  Information and resources related to higher education for veterans, service members and their families. 

     

    National Career Development Association: Provides career development resource links for veterans and their spouses. Select "Special Populations" to access veteran and military-related resources. 

     

    Military Impacted Schools Association: A national organization of school superintendents with a higher concentration of military students. Provides useful links for military families and educator resources.

    OD Greens: OD Greens is a hydroponic urban farm that grows and sells specialty herbs and greens.  Our primary mission is to provide workplace training for disabled veterans, through adaptive and low impact grow methods.
