Westlake 2019

We were (finally) able to attend our first competition of the 2019-2019 season this past Saturday. The Westlake Invitational was a success and every student contributed to the team. With 62 high school teams and 42 middle school teams, our three teams worked hard and were able to walk away with new knowledge, valuable experiences, and even a few medals.

Middle School Division B: 20^th and 21^st

3^rd Place Crime Busters: Rachel Stark and Bowen Zheng

7^th Place Disease Detectives: Rachel Stark and Ryan Lee

6^th Place Fossils: Harrison Rothchild and Sam Burford

7^th Place Fossils: Eric Luster and Mia Januszewski

5^th Place Roller Coaster: Nitin Rajan and Collin Fenderbosch

8^th Place Road Scholar: Ryan Lee and Josh Garner

3^rd Place Solar System: Zoe Ashenfelter and Harrison Rothchild

8^th Place WIDI: Mia Januszewski and Zayna Alreyami

High School Division C: 31^st place

2^nd Place: WIDI Rebecca Stark and Jerry Talsma  

Way to go team! We will continue to work hard as we prepare for the next competition at Mentor next month!
