Amy Gray, M.Ed., LPCC-S
Mrs. Gray is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor from Child Guidance and Family Solutions. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. Mrs. Gray worked for several years as an outpatient community mental health counselor treating a wide variety of clientele prior to joining Copley full time. Some of Mrs. Gray's areas of clinical interest and expertise include working with adolescents with depression, anxiety, experiences of trauma, self injury, substance use, and suicidal ideation and behavior. She also has experience and interest in working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as other marginalized populations. Mrs. Gray works from a variety of evidence-based counseling models, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Mrs. Gray has worked in Copley-Fairlawn City Schools since 2015 and has found her passion in supporting students, staff, and families in this community. In addition to her counseling role, she has enjoyed providing education to students and staff on mental health topics such as suicide prevention, effects of trauma, and holistic self-care. She is also the staff advisor for Zenity, a stress management after school club at Copley High School.
Mrs. Gray is currently assigned to Copley-Fairlawn Middle School (Wednesdays) and Copley High School and will primarily be working with students in grades 7-12 and their families. Mrs. Gray can be reached at 330-664-4898 and Amy.Gray@copley-fairlawn.org.
