Mr. Deiotte is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed School Counselor (K-12), and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) in the State of Ohio. Mr Deiotte received his Educational Specialist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University as well as two graduate certificates, one in Early Childhood Mental Health Counseling (ECMH) and Behavioral Consultation and the other in Chemical Dependency Counseling. Mr. Deiotte earned his Masters of Education in School Counseling from John Carroll University and his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Xavier University. Mr. Deiotte has an extensive history of working with children and their families while employed as a social service worker with the State of Ohio helping families overcome struggles and difficulties related to child abuse and neglect, mental illness, chemical dependency, domestic violence, academic truancy, and juvenile delinquency. Mr. Deiotte emphasizes a Humanistic, Person-Centered approach when working with individuals as well as incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, and Play Therapy skills and techniques in helping other's overcome daily living problems and finding solutions that better their lives.
