Copley High School is proud to be the home of a chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society. Students who have earned an 'A' average in a band or choir at Copley High School for at least THREE semesters (not including the current semester), with at least a 3.0 Cumulative GPA overall, may apply. Application materials were made available on the Google Classroom AND can be found here. Applications are due by Friday, March 3! Induction ceremony will be March 27.

BASKETBALL CONCESSIONS SIGNUP GENIUS!
Students are welcome to come practice in the band room in the morning before school. You could easily get over an hour of practice each week just in the mornings! Disclaimer: Breakfast not included.

7 weeks without a mandatory band practice. Students should be spending time practicing and memorizing their music.
July

July 18- 20 5:00pm - 9:00pm: Pre-Camp Fundamentals and Music Rehearsals
July 24-28 8:30am - 6:00pm BAND CAMP WEEK - Monday-Friday
This is the most intensive, important, FUN week for the students! We’ll
learn the majority of our show during this week.

REHEARSAL/PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE DURING THE FALL

Tuesday/Wednesday - in-school rehearsals are extended until 3:00. With over 150 students leaving at 3:00, don’t worry --we can almost always find a parent for your child to share a ride with!

THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL “EXTENDED” PRACTICE after school until 4:00PM; 4:00-4:30 will be reserved for music memorization checks.

After November 5, we switch to concert bands for the remainder of the school year. Rehearsals are during the school day; performances are similar to the middle school experience (3-4 per year).
