    CFMS News:

Today we celebrate Honesty. Being honest shows kindness to others.   Tomorrow's theme is Orange to Celebrate Friendship.  Don't forget to come to the cafeteria to decorate a kindness rock today at Flex. Look for kindness rocks hidden around the school.  If you see one, give it to someone who needs it that day.  The goal is to keep  passing around to others to keep a chain reaction of kindness going for weeks to come!

The CFMS Science Fair is coming! The Science Fair is a fun and exciting way to learn about science! If you want to participate in this year's Science Fair, just fill out the blue flyer and send it into the Main Office by Monday January 31st. You can work alone or with ONE other person from your same grade level, but you must both send in the flyer. If you have any questions, there are many students who have participated in the past and can give you advice or you can ask any staff member. This year's Science Fair will be DURING school on Wednesday, March 30 with an after-school Open House on Tuesday, March 29. We hope you will join us to explore science and share your scientific powers!

We are looking forward to next week's return of Spirit Week presented by student council. So far, you've heard that some of our fun themes include P.J. Day on Monday, January 31st, Band Tee Tuesday is Tuesday, February 1st , and Wednesday, February 2nd is Workout Wednesday.

One week from today our spirit week theme will be Anything But a Backpack day! So leave those backpacks at home and bring your school supplies in something fun and creative! Be sure that your new way to carry everything will not disrupt movement around the classroom, can fit on the bus with you, and follows all school rules and safety expectations.

Our spirit week will conclude next Friday, February 4, with our Winter Pep Assembly where we recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our winter sports athletes. Just like in the Fall, only a limited number of students will be able to attend the pep assembly in person. Every spirit day that you participate in will earn you an entry into a drawing to win one of less than 100 seats available at the pep assembly. So have some fun and participate in as many of the themes as possible.

Tomorrow, we will reveal our final fun theme for the Return of Spirit Week at CFMS.
