Week 2 Wrestling results…
Congrats to Ashland JV tournament place winners Brett Powell (1st), Chris Burke (1st), DJ Heap (2nd), Jacob Rockoff(2nd), Fred Koellner(2nd) DJ Johnson (2nd), and Tyler Whitfield (3rd). Valuable experience was gained by the young Indian wrestlers, great job all!
The Varsity opens up Suburban League action on Thursday at Green. CHS will wrestle duals against Revere and Tallmadge. We have a special focus on winning league matches and our team has been working hard in preparation for this event. Wrestling starts at 5pm, both JV and Varsity wrestlers should each get 2 matches.
Also this week, we wrestle in the Hudson Holiday tournament on Friday and Saturday. This will be a very competitive varsity tournament and a good measure of where our wrestlers stand heading into the winter break.
