Biography:
Hello! My name is Mrs. Burtoft and this is my 3rd year at Fort Island, and my 8th year of teaching. I am the afternoon teacher who job shares with Mrs. Cadnum. I have the privilege of teaching my very favorite subject-language arts. I absolutely love reading and writing
I spend my mornings with my 2 year old son, Parker, and my 6 month old daughter, Audrey. My children are so precious to me. I have been married to Mr. Burtoft for 7 years, and we enjoy doing things as a family. In my free time I love reading, scrapbooking, taking my children for walks, and baking. I am very glad to be a part of the Fort Island team!
Class Information:
Our class has 27 fabulous fourth graders! We have a very diverse group of kids this year, and that means that each student has a lot to offer our classroom. Our class works together, and we really enjoy each other. We have many fun activities planned, and I'm sure our class will have a great year!
