Welcome to Mrs. Gallagher's Gifted/Enrichment Classroom
Hello! My name is Mrs. Gallagher and I am the new Gifted/Enrichment tutor at Fort Island Primary School. I am very excited to be here at Fort Island - I absolutely love it!
A little bit about me:I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. Who Dey! I have four sisters (I am the youngest), whom are all my best friends. I love playing and watching sports, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family. I have a dog named Zoey who I absolutely adore. I just got married this January and went from Miss Imbus to Mrs. Gallagher!
Education: I went to William Mason High School (in Mason, Ohio - right by Kings Island). I attended Bowling Green State University where I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (PK-3) in 2009. Right after graduating with my bachelors, I stayed at Bowling Green and received my Masters in Reading (PK-12). During my Masters program, I was also a graduate assistant where I assisted a professor, tutored children in reading, as well as taught "Introduction to Education" for the University. I graduated with my Masters in May of 2010 and then completed my 4/5 endorsement during the summer. Last year was my first year teaching and I taught all day kindergarten in Hamilton, Ohio. This is my second year of teaching and I LOVE it!
