Fort Island Primary School is one of three primary schools serving students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth in the Copley-Fairlawn City School District. Located in the heart of beautiful Fairlawn, Fort Island has an ethnically diverse student population, which includes over 400 students from more than 20 countries.
Students at Fort Island Primary School receive instruction each week in art, physical education, and music. Students also receive specialized instruction during their intervention time every week, which may include time in the computer lab, Enrichment, reading or math help, or English as a Second Language (ESL). Fort Island students also visit the Media Center each week.
