The Standards Guides for Families highlight some skills your child should know and be able to do at his or her grade level. They are based on Ohio’s Academic Content Standards. 

The "What this means" describes the standard. The bulleted statements under the "What this means" offer a few examples of things your child has to learn at that grade. The "Check your understanding" areas provide further information. The guides also include tips and activities you can do with your child.
