The Copley-Fairlawn City School District has the following positions available for

Candidates will also have the opportunity to coach in the areas of football, wrestling, basketball, baseball or softball
 

Summer School Teachers, Grades 1-8, 40 hours of instruction plus 8 hours of planning time at $25.00 per hour, June 10-27, 2008.

1--Math Teacher (9-12), Certification/Licensure in Integrated Mathematics 7-12 is required.  Salary per the negotiated agreement.  (2008-2009 School Year)

1--Part-time Latin teacher at Copley High School

1--Maintenance Technician, $16.58 per hour, 8 hours per day, five days per week.

1--Educational Assistant for the Transportation Department, $12.14 per hour, 5 days per week, 1.25 hours per day.  This position may be temporary, based on the needs of  students.

Substitutes Needed

The Copley-Fairlawn City School District is looking for people willing to substitute in various positions, including: teachers (with proper certification), cafeteria workers, educational assistants, secretaries, custodians, bus drivers, and playground/cafeteria monitors.   If you hold a 4-year bachelor's degree in another field other than education, you may obtain a temporary  teaching certificate which enables you to be a substitute teacher in our district.  Anyone interested in obtaining a substitute application should  contact the Board of Education Office at (330) 664-4800.
