City Schools rated "EXCELLENT"
Congratulations to all staff
and students!
The Ohio Department of
Education released the 2006-2007 School Year Report Card
for school districts across the state. Copley-Fairlawn
City Schools met 29 of the state’s 30 indicators and is
rated as
EXCELLENT.
In addition, the
district met the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals
with the targeted populations (e.g., economically
disadvantaged, students with disabilities), as required
by the federal No Child Left Behind Act. (NCLB). Only
one third of the state's school district’s met AYP.
