Congratulations

Copley High School is pleased to announce that four students have been selected to participate in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Northeastern Ohio Regional Essay/Oratorical Contest.  Based on the theme “A New Spirit Rising,” essays written by Daniel Borchik, Courtney Day, Siri Hiremath, and Lindsay Schell were chosen to advance to the oratorical portion of the contest.  Over 500 entries were received from Northeastern Ohio.  Of those entered, only the top five essays from four major categories were selected: category I (grade k-3), category II (grade 4-5), category III (grade 6-8), and category IV (grade 9-12).

Hosted by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Northeastern Ohio Regional Essay/Oratorical Committee and The Coming Together Project, this annual event will be held at Firestone High School on March 16, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
